Zach Fleury is one of Bainbridge Island’s hidden treasures. He tends to fly beneath the radar, but if you’re tuned in properly, his signal will guide you home. It’s strong and clear, and a welcome change from the typical musical static out there. For kudos’ sake, we could mention that his work includes collaborations with Noah Gundersen, Hot Bodies in Motion, Allen Stone, Macklemore, and some film scoring for Lionsgate Film. For comparisons, we could throw out Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye.
But none of the name-dropping would be fair, for Zach Fleury doesn’t play that way. He just plays music. His own music, his own way. And others’ music, his own way too. Whether he’s vamping to his own songs with their unique perspective on modern life and love, or rendering “Crazy Love” by Morrison, Zach’s unorthodox vocal soaring, held down by his deadly bassist’s sense of rhythym, combine to form a rare one-man-band that doesn’t need a single thing more.

Chebon’s skill as a singer, guitarist and harmonica player are unparalleled, and audiences across the nation have been appreciating this artist’s unique stamp on the blues for the past twenty two years. A recipient of much acclaim and many awards, Tiger has shared stages and opened for such revered artists as Ian Moore, Steve Pryor, Watermelon Slim, Gov’t Mule, Joe Bonamassa, and others. While maintaining a grueling performing schedule as a bandleader and contributor to other projects, Tiger is working on a duo side project with Alex Westcoat of the band Pickwick, which recently performed at the New Waterfront Festival on Waterfront Park.
