Sarah Emerson is a singer, songwriter from the Seattle area who plays acoustic guitar and piano and started writing music as a favor for her brother’s wedding. “From there, the songs just kept coming…like a faucet was turned on!” She says. She released her first professional recording on her local church’s album which encouraged her to keep writing and recording. Her first album, Sarah Emerson and the Radiokings, debuted in 2012. Dedicating the proceeds of the hard copies to a building project an orphanage in Uganda which racked up an astounding 15k in the first two months after the album’s release. Since then Sarah has been performing throughout Washington and this summer ventured down to LA where she has been working with producer Ryan Matthews to shift her sound from singer/songwriter folk/pop to carry more of an electronic pop/dance sound. And will be releasing her new single with us here at The Triple Door! Will be a fantastic night!

Based out of Charlottesville, VA, Dillingham released its debut self-titled EP in July 2015. Frontman Tucker MacDonald says “it’s feels like we’re coming out of a forest, as though we wandered together in there for a while and now we’re out.” Well, that forest is about to catch fire. After releasing their EP in July 2015, Dillingham toured the Midwest and Northeast, collaborated with legendary jazz musician John D’Earth and producer/musician Butch Taylor (toured with the Dave Matthews Band) and was just listed as part of NoiseTrade’s “New and Notable.”  Tucker fronts the band on vocal and guitars while his younger brother Micah plays keys/synth and sings lush harmonies; Rob Dunnenberger holds the heartbeat of the songs together on drums.
"With conviction, strength, and intellect, the skillful partnership of Tucker’s voice and guitar besots listeners. His captivating voice resonates through the core, transcending you to a thought-provoking stratosphere, while the band behind him, known as dillingham, is performing a score, which in a beautifully ironic way, keeps you grounded."     -cville niche
Dillingham will release a single off their upcoming record at The Triple Door on March 15, 2016.
