Brazilian Nights is proud to present Paula Santoro, one of Brazil's top singers, on her second tour of the Pacific Northwest. Paula will be accompanied by Three-Time Latin Grammy's nominee Jovino Santos Neto on piano, Chuck Deardorf on bass and Jeff Busch on drums.
It’s not often that a new star emerges on the international music scene with a fully formed and very personal vision expressed through contemporary rhythms and musical eloquence, but such is the case with Paula Santoro. A star of the concert stage, musical theater, and Brazilian television, Santoro’s grasp of the modern Brazilian musical vernacular is nearly as complete as her deeper understanding of artistic expression employed to express a full range of human emotions.
Paula's sincere vocals are fluid and heavenly. Fans of female, Brazilian singers, jazz music, and South American pop will love Paula's mature and distinctive voice of sound. It's magical to say the least. ~ Matthew Forss
